The Magic of Folktale Cabin (Maybelle's)....

Tucked in the woods at the end of our lane sits an adorable cottage at the Robinwood Inn known as Folktale Cabin. Used as a getaway cottage for friends and family of the original owner back in the 1930's, Folktale continues to stay true to its intended purpose by remaining a welcoming retreat and safe haven for guests. In this whimsical and relaxed atmosphere, Folktale's spirit of hospitality has always lingered. Relax and enjoy your stay and become one of the happy memories that make Folktale such a magical place.

Although Folktale was renovated in 2003, the large Brown County Stone fireplace remains. The poplar wood beams inside were all purchased from our local sawmills as were the oak floors and with so much wood you feel like you are in a log cabin. The combination of rustic craftsmanship and modern amenities are all part of the owners approach to design.

At Folktale you will feel like you are "Away from it all" but you are actually only a half mile from town and a half mile from the State Park. Have your coffee while listening to the songbirds of summer or start a chilly Fall morning by soaking in the hot tub. Winter mornings and evenings couldn't be more cozy than spent in front of the Brown County stone fireplace.

Bedrooms:

The master is a beautiful private bedroom on the first floor with a Rustic Cedar Post King sized bed off the living room.

The open loft can sleep 4 with 1 queen and 2 twins perfect for a girlfriends getaway slumber party or family vacation.

Base price is for 2 guests (double occupancy)

Additional guests are $10 per person per night Sun-Thurs & $20 per person per night Fri & Sat
